Serving to Learn, Learning to Lead, Leading to Restore.

Statement
of Faith

Rooted in Scripture.
Renewed by Grace.
Sent for Restoration.

Our Statement of Faith reflects the biblical convictions that shape our teaching, community, and mission.

Our Theological Posture

Scripture Above All

The Bible is our ultimate authority for faith and practice.

Christ at the Center

We exalt Jesus Christ as Lord and follow Him in every aspect of life.

The Church in Community

We believe in the power of the body of Christ to disciple, serve, and transform.

Mission in the World

We are sent to love God, love neighbor, and pursue restorative justice.

Our Declaration

Emmanuel Leadership Institute (ELI) is committed to the authority of Scripture, the lordship of Jesus Christ, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible, as originally given, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is our final and sufficient rule for faith, doctrine, and life.

We affirm the triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternally existing in unity and love, and active in creation, redemption, and sanctification.

We believe humanity was created in the image of God, fell into sin, and is in need of redemption. Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.

We affirm the church as the body of Christ, called to worship, disciple, and participate in God's mission of restoration and justice in the world.

We value theological humility, meaningful dialogue, and charitable engagement with those who differ, while remaining steadfast in the truth of the Gospel.

"Speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church." — Ephesians 4:15 (CSB)
